Whats Involved In Using an Aftermarket Temp. Guage?

I really want a different temp guage and was wondering what I need to make it work. Thanks.

You need to install a temp sender and wire it up to the gauge, there are threads regarding the placement of the sender around if you search.

The stock temp sender may or may not be calibrated correctly for your particular gauge. Its recommended to use the sender that comes with your new gauge.

Oh, I didnt know the sender came with the guage. What is the best place for me to put the new sender.

In place of the stock sender would be a good start.
