See Chapter 3 of the Factory Service Manual. Be sure to note the two Caution items.

Depends on the amount of freeze protection you need. Check the FSM under Technical Data for some solutions.

you need to have enough coolant for the below freezing temps (which I believe you experience a lot in your neck of the woods).

You should have downloaded the PDF when you signed up to the RX7Club.

depending on how cold 50/50 would seem ok

60:40 to 65:35 antifreeze:water should provide maximum freeze protection. 50:50 is just a rough number, the whole range from 30%-70% will work fine for most. But yeah go 60-65% for the most freeze protection. There's not any significant downside.

yes, up to a certain temperature. If it gets colder than 3*F in virginia then his 65/45 mixture might not be good enough. I think it gets colder than thhat over there though.

This is all based on the numbers Mazda recommends in the FSM.

55/45 is good for any temps above -15*F so he needs to figure out how cold it gets and work it out.

You and I will never use those mixtures here but he will be more likely to see those temps this winter.

50-50 is the general rule. How cold will it get in the winter? You may want 60:40 coolant:water
