i got my 88 rex t II about 2 months ago but when my brother brought it to texas from calif. it caught on fire. we thaught it was pd but what it turned out to be was the hose from the turbo got loose and eventually started the fire i replaced the hoses and throttle cable and tried to start the car and it did but died out. it was also smoking like crazy. the color of the smoke was blueish. what could be wrong? any help appreciated.

Oh god, that's an extensive list.
My first guess is burnt wiring harness, seeing its close proximity to the turbo. Get out that DMM and get back to us.
