whats going on?
been a long time since i've posted here but this is whats going on.
I took my care to the track a week ago, it was my first time ever! I have a street port motor with only about 10000km on it, Header(don't really know what kind), k&n cone filter, no catz, and straight pipe exhaust from the resonator back. I need new strutts, that im pretty sure of and rear calipers have to be done aswell.
My fastest time was a 16.928 1/4mile. And my best 60' time was a 2.492. I thought i would get into the 15's at least with all the work done on my car! You guys got any ideas on my my times were so slow? It was a pretty ugly day, overcast with a wind of about 10-15km/h and the temp was about 5c.

60ft 60ft 60ft
go again and again and again launching low rpms first then higher and higher and till you turn your best time.
once your times start going up again go back to your the last launch rpm and try again.

ok i got 8 runs and was getting better on each one!
my lowest 60' time was 2.492 the highest was a 2.778.
1/8 mile was a 10.902 and lowest was a 11.20
I had my actuators wired open because of lack of back pressure! I'm only runnin two belts, fan and power steering.
You think it's just lack of practice and not something wrong with my car? I'm planning on doing some dyno pulls and if im not over 150 with my mods im gonna be pretty pissed off! A fellow member in my club pulled a 147hp dyno pull and he has pretty cloose to what i've got. except he has a different exhaust setup.

i can shift at 8k? It won't hurt the motor at all? I know that rotary can rev incledibly high but. I think the most i was shifting at when i was running was at around 7300rpm or so, a little bit after my buzzer started going off.
