how come it goes up to 9000?

because s5's (89+) go to 9k and red line at 8k.

i think its the gtu because my friend has a gtu and his red line is 9000 and i have a tII and mines 8000

No, all the series 5 N/A had a higher redline than the S4 and the T2s.
