Whats different?

I was wondering what was different between the turbo kits sold at the store. Between the HKS and the GReddy.

HKS: http://www.rx7store.net/hksturbokits.htm

GReddy: http://www.rx7store.net/greddyturbokits.htm

Would like to know which is better and why. Thanks alot.

The GReddy kit is based on a Mitsubishi TD-06SH turbo.&nbsp The HKS kit is based on a T04E-54 turbo.&nbsp The HKS turbo spools up a little faster, but the GReddy turbo can make more potential power.&nbsp HKS turbo is only good to about 350hp; the GReddy turbo can make up to 400hp.

I wouldn't recommend neither.

T04S04 turbo from http://www.turbochargers.com/ $1000
HKS T04 turbo manifold $300
Assorted plumbing for oil lines - $200
Intake piping for new turbo - $200
Exhaust adapter - $200
This "kit" can be put together for about $2000 with the potential to pump out 400hp no problem.

Well the kits are not much more than that and would be easier to install for me I would think. Thanks for the reply.

I would listen to Ted if I were you. The advice he gave you will yield more power and better streetability than the kits you mentioned. A

Ya I think your right actually. Just I wouldn't know what to buy even. Kind of easier when you get it all in a kit, especially if you aren't some mechanic.
