I am getting ready to swap my 91 Turbo II DriveTrain to my 91 Vert that I just picked up.

My experience tells me to do the swap using my N370 ECU and Turbo II wire harness, but then I realized that there is a seperate ECU for the Vert and N/A Coupe respectively. Why is this? What does the Vert ECU control that the N/A Coupe doesn't, and will the Turbo ECU control what the Vert needs?

I have read Rotary Resurrections writeup, but it does not list anything Vert specific. Give me some knowledge guys!

 

The N370 ECU will be fine. The vert ECUs just have slightly different tuning due to the weight differences between the models.

 

Thats what I speculated, but wanted confirmation.

Is the vert turbo? Can you use a turbo ECU on an NA?

In Japan there was no N/A made after the SA/FB if i'm not mistaken... Even though I could be wrong ...
