the s5 front end is more open, the mouth i guess you could say is completly open compared to the s4 were the mouth has a grill

The S5 front end is also a bit wider (if I remember correctly) so it is not a direct bolt on fit... (unless you don't mind gaps.... )
That and the s5 front end looks better!

Approximate inlet dimensions:
S4 Radiator Inlet - 23x4.5"
S4 Brake Inlet (Each) - 4.75x2.125"
S5 Radiator Inlet - 24x5"
S5 Brake Inlet (Each) - 8.75x3.5"
I actually found the radiator grills to be fairly close in area for each car, although they look different.
