So I took off upper intake manifold on my s4 na to replace gaskets an since i was already there I checked injectors and saw numbers who someone marked
( previous owner maybe) the primaries say 2 and 4 and secondaries say 1 and 3 . so my guess they are not in order. what is the difference between then so I can put primaries and secondaries where they should be if needed??? since they all look the same color

 

nothing, stock injectors are all the same. They are different depending on what model and year you have (ie: N/A or turbo or S4 or S5)

 

^^whell mine is 86 n/a

 

as long as the part numbers on the side are the same it should be fine

 

just to be sure All four injectors are the same size 460cc?

 

by different years I meant that an '86 will have different injectors than a '90. All 4 of your injectors are 460cc Low impedance injectors
