What i think he meant was what is the specific reason that you say these turbos suck. is it the epoxied housing, the design of the fins???? I would also like to know, im pretty sure the glue together housing is not a good sign.

Another reason why when I install an upgraded turbo for my 10th AE, I wont look through ebay. Straight to turbonetics or greddy.

oh, didn't realize its glued together. is it just that though? or is it something else? is it just because the brand isn't good? I ask, because I have no idea what the inside of a "high quality" turbo is supposed to look like. so, just simply posting a picture means nothing to mean.

thanks.

i agree, but i'm having a huge problem with boost creep right now with my upgraded s5 turbo t04 hybrid.

i have to machine the wastegate backing plate and port the wastegate hole this weekend to combat it.

I wonder if anyone has sent ssautochrome a link to any of the findings about their turbos on this (or other) forums. That would be interesting, if they responded.

i'm sure they don't care. if they offer products like that they are only interested in getting the money and nothing else.

I heard that manifold is a piece too, I was wanting to buy it a little while ago, but I changed my mind due to opinions on this board. Its the 'stone racing' manifold, alot of people have complained about it. Some people have even said that it isn't exactly perfectly flat with the block! wth is that all about?

The HKS manifold at rx7store.net is 100$ more, but HKS knows how to make ****.

btw, that turbo reminds me of those cheap *** metal toys you used to get when you were a kid. You know the same kind of metal that 'dinky' cars were made out of (at least thats what me and my friend called them )
