What's the deal?

Came across these on ebay and I am looking for serious comments on this battery terminal. Is it really useful or not? Does anyone else use this? Worth it or waste of time?

Thanks guys!

$53 + shipping is an awful lot to spend on a battery terminal that will eventually drain your battery.

And your bump has been deleted. Bumps are forbidden here in the 2nd gen technical section.

And your signature is in violation of forum rules. Maximum size allowed is the size of 6 lines of standard sized text. your current signature is almost 20 lines of text. Fix it before it is seen by an admin and deleted without any further warning.

Icemark, arent you an admin.? That battery terminal is probly a waste of money. Whats the point of an LED on the terminal anyways?

Nope just a lowly moderator... I don't have to be politically correct, I just have to enforce forum rules as a moderator

Thanks for understanding. Sometimes people ignore their PM's so it always helps to post for everyone to see, just to remind others of the same issues.

Thank you again for such a prompt response!

Just get a multimeter if your interested. You can get a good one for that much and use it for lots of other stuff.

I already have a multimeter but I have never seen a terminal like this before and was curious as to who might have it. The same guy sells similar terminals without the digital display for 14.99.. If I was going for a clean look, would it be a good buy???

It looks cool, but is expensive and must draw some power to light the LEDs.

But if you are going for the show look, then by all means, go ahead and get the one without the LED display

Not really the show look but a clean engine bay. But would you consider it rice? If so I am just going to buy a set of the brass terminals..

I call rice. Get a better in-car voltage gauge if you think you need a better voltage reading. I'd rather have a clean terminal.

Well, I'll admit, I'm boring. Very boring. So yeah, stock with a clean cover or something or other. Just not a digital voltmeter on top of your battery. You have a voltage gauge in the car, why get one for your battery, too?
