Exclamation Whats causing my hesitation??

Ok i have a little problem. Between 3500k to 4500k rpm my car hesitates/bucking, but only if i have the peddle mashed never happens when just cruising. So i replaced the air filter and spark plugs but still not fixed. iam stumped and am not happy with it either. Also when i down shift and let the rpms drop it starts to buck some times vioently going from 3500k to 2500k.

Well if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Its driving me crazy. Does not help when i try to street race and i get a big lag/chug in that rpm range.

I would check your connectors to your secondary fuel injectors and make sure that the injecters are clean and have good flow. Secondly, you should check all of the grounds on the engine bay and make sure they are clean. If not, clean or replace. This is a common problem and you can find detailed help by searching. Also, I think this issue is mentioned in one of the stickies.

ok thanks. replace grounds sounds good i will get right on that.

i also have an idle problem but from searching all i find is ways to fix it on a t2. the idle is all over the place if i adjust it, it either stays at 1300k or i turn it down and it jumps right to 200k and at that point idles for a sec then dies.

press down on the throttle from under the hood. notice that there is another piece above it that moves also. that is the part that controls most of the idle, nobody really knows that. there is a nut that looks like it will adjust, take that nut with the bolt completely out. now, put a screw in its place that will fit snug and tighten really nicely. turn on the car and use a screwdriver to adjust it, you should be fine now.
