whats the best way to PROPERLY install s5 tails onto an s4?

whats the best way to PROPERLY install s5 tails onto an s4?

so should i go out to walmart and spend 40-50 bucks on a dremel and cut the little piece out or use a hammer to slightly bash it in to make some space? whats the best way to do it?

hitting it with a hammer isnt as savage as it sounds, it bends easily and nicely and it doesnt look hacked up like you beat it with a hammer. i think cutting it all jagged edged and not painting the edge would look worse. id just use a hammer.

or you could just use some pliers with a rag or something soft under the teeth to bend the metal.

Whats wrong with using a hand, i do most of my body work with my palm. im sure that metal is just as soft and bendable. a few good hits with your palm should bend it enough and it should stay smooth and even bend, not all jagged and beat up looking like with a hammer

Just bend it you *****, no one is going to take the tail lights off to see if you did a ghetto job or not.

i used a set of vice grips

and a rag so the teeth didnt bite throught he paint. worked perfectly and actually bent uniformally so it doesnt even look like its not supposed to be like that.

I have an 88 vert and I needed to "adjust" the metal to mount my s5 tails. Channel Locks and a cloth did the job very cleanly.
