What's the best course of action?

This might be a shocker, but my car is running extremely rich. *gasp*! I have to change the oil every 1500 miles or the fuel will thin it out So I would like to 'lean it down'.
Anyhow, I was wondering what the best course of action to fix this problem would be. Should I go through ever single sensor and check/replace them? A friend of mine, who's a 1st gen owner, recommended to me a S-AFC. I've done some research and this might do the trick as far is leaning it out. What do you all think?

I would check the thermo sensor on the back of the waterpump first.

Does it flood a lot? If so there's the main reason for so much fuel in the oil.
