What'll happen if I take off the Air Pump?

I have a '91 N/A with a completely stock engine except for an intake. I want to remove the Air Pump for a short while so I can use the bracket as a model to have a new one CNC milled out of forged aluminum. Does anyone know if there anything that may suffer damage of any kind if I run the car with out the Air Pump for a couple of days?

Thanks.

No it won't hurt your car at all, but you will lose top end performence because the VDI cannot operate with out the airpump. The VDI is a few aux ports that open up past like 6k rpm, no I'm not talking about the 5th and 6th ports but they will not work either. But to answer you question I drove around my car with out an airpump for like 6 months or so and with it on now its running fine.

It's kinda bad for the main cat not to have air pumped in.. it can lead to clogging it.. I dunno how much damage it would do for just a few days, tho.. Not much, I imagine..
