What is your suggestion on aftermarket fuel regulaters.

I have a Microtech Lt8, Street ported engine, 3mm apex and 3" fm Turbo back, T3/T4 hybrid (TO4E Comp wheel).

What Will Supprt 550 primarys and 850 Secondaries? With the right Fuel Pump.

Aeromotive or SX..

I have the Aeromotive, however, If i had to do it again.. I'd get the SX, only because the Aeromotive has the pressure input port on the right,, while the SX has it on the left...

this may seem petty, however, our fuel lines come in and exit on the drivers side of the car, THUS, the FPR is most likely going to be mounted over there. The pressure line comes in from the passenger side, thus, i had to loop the line around the back of the regulator. (you can take it apart and rotate the barrel 180 degrees, but i didn't want to chance mesing up a 160 dollar unit by tearing it apart just to get a hose on the side i wanted it).

Most guys use -6an line and fittings.

I think the SX with -6an fittings is 180 bucks from www.rx7store.net

I wish I could afford all those nice toys.
With a high volume pump, you've got everything you need already.

A wideband will leave no doubt.

save yer pennies dude... (or go in debt like me!!)

I think the FPR and upgraded fuel rails are a must once you get over 300HP and huge secondaries... the stock unit just wasn't designed to handle it!

Thanks for the info, What boost level should limit my self too? Also, I was thinking of runnig a FD fuel pump with a SX fuel regulator ( like you suggested) and I guess bigger rails... I am already at 265 hp too the wheels without the new turbo installed. Does the FD fuel pump put out enough volume for my set up?

Well, the FD can run the 550's and 850's with no problem but I don't think you will get the flow demand you really need fot the turbo set-up you have. I think you should go with the walbro pump and SX. I also agree with using the wideband to tune it.

I had the SARD fpr. The quality was a bit of a let down.
