My goals are to turn my junkyard GXL into a nice daily driver (Once I finally get the damned thing smogged) and then slowly turn it into as much of a beast as I can without sacrificing daily drivability. Mostly, I'm using this car to learn all I can about the wankel and how to properly build, rebuild, and mod the hell out of it.

all i want is the car to be in good condition, i dont need to have some crazy fast car, besides i dont have the money for all that. it could use a new paint job, and find some way to get rid of the rust behind the wheels. i love my car the way it is, it looks sweet, is decently quick, and has a cool, rare motor. i mean ****, i couldnt have asked for more than a free rx7 for my first car.

Couldn't care less about track or trap times, I want to turn my 'vert into a full tII swap. I've seen European turbo cabriolet's and am dismayed they weren't sold here. THEN, I would add as many reliable go-fast parts as I could, as I could afford them, while keeping a factory look. Can you say SLEEPER?

Heh, heh...someday...

I want my car to be a little faster, then I want handling. I just want a fun, good-looking street car.
Maybe next I'll get some pineapple sleeves, port-match the manifolds, then work on suspension. If I can run in the 15's I'll be more than satisfied.

At first, I wanted an awesome sleeper convertible. I was going to buy the Atkins S/C and have fun with that. But as time progressed, I began to just like the vert for its reliability. The car is too heavy to ever be really fast. I'm hopefully buying a Montego Blue FD with a brand new engine and a T66. That will solve my go fast and look good problems in one step :-)

BTW: I am keeping the vert, because I know that no one else will appreciate how good of shape it is in. My dad will drive it, and maybe someday it will get a TII swap or a S/C.......After law school

Yeah, with a "mildly" massaged 20B, 800 is a good conservative number.&nbsp I'd think the chassis would twist itself with more power.&nbsp If I wanted 1000hp, I would go with a tube frame chassis with some funky AWD drivetrain...

obviously i want mine to look good. But first i want it to run correctly. And yes i want it fast. . But my goal is to beat this badass silver 3000GT VR4 that is always on the BLVD in syracuse NY. i raced him with mine twice and he ate me for lunch. i dont know what he has into it, or what his times are, but i want to beat him. Thats my goal. (i would like 300hp)

Haltech with a bridgeport or a wild streetport (depending on the usable power band). Full "rally" suspension, roll cage, and rally tires. I want to make washing the car a significant weight reduction.

They are tough on the street...AWD! You need to hold on and take him in the top end...

I plan on building my car up into a drifting road race car. I've already got enough power in my other cars for the drag strip and I want to compete in the D1 and SCCA circuits!
