what year is this part from?

Hey guys I'm trying to find out what year/model rx-7 this coolant cap housing came off of. I know my 88 T2 does not have the nipple for the coolant overflow tank hose like this one does in the picture. I have a koyo radiator and it does not have a hook up for the coolant overflow like the stock one did. So I am trying to find out where this one came from. Thanks

Must be aftermarket. I have a 89 and it doesn't have that.

Is it turbo only or somethin?

That's an early '86 overflow, with the overflow tank relocated to the standard S4 location. I'm considering doing the same to my car.

My former '88 had the overflow in the radiator, the normal S4 place.

It's a s4 filler neck, check out rotaryressurrection.com (spelling wrong perhaps?) and email/ask Kevin Landers, I'm sure he's got some laying around.
