what is wrong with these coilovers

okay i installed the 2 front coilovers. i barely back out and the tires are rubbing on the coilover springs. i thought coilovers were supposed to give you more clearance or am i wrong. i have 16 x 7 +35, 205/50/16 tires.

also can i get a picture of the top hat of the coilovers installed?

I had a similar problem, ended up installing a 3mm spacer...now no worries

some times the struts come slotted so if you slightly losen off both the hub bolts while you have the car jacks up and pull the camber out and then lock both hub bolts..

Wrong parts or installed incorrectly. I installed the "fat" Eibach springs on KYB adjustables and had plenty of clearance with those size wheels/tires. Double check to make sure you installed the correct units.

The collars give you less room with coilovers. They are right there at the wheel/rim. Like said above just get some 3mm spacer and they should clear without problems.

What coilovers are you running?
