MOLDED BUMPER, MOLDED WING, BODYWORK AND BRAND NEW DUPONT PAINTJOB BLACK= 1700

BLACK SPARCO SEATS FROM MY FRIEND= 350

REBUILD THE JSPEC ENGINE WITH AVIATION SEALS AND STREET PORT= 2100

AND PIONEER RADIO FOR JUST A LITTLE SOUND= 200

SO ALL THIS JUST FOR NOW AT 5K EXACTLY

OTHER STUFF MAYBE LATER. BUT I THINK THATS 5K SPENT WELL

Turbo housings, s5 n/a rotors, full t04b or similar, FD intake, some decent tires/light weight rims, haltech or similar, and various other little things.

Rebuild the engine, and keep the S5 TII 9:1 rotors if they are still good. Unlike SonicRaT, I don't think the higher-compression 9.7:1 NA rotors are worth the detonation problems, and Mazda also thinks so, as they used 9:1 rotors on the high-performance 20B-REW and 13B-REW engines.

The rest of the upgrades depend on what is already in your car. Some things to think about are an upgraded radiator (AWR is good, the stock RX-7 radiator is terrible), clutch/flywheel, wheels/tires, race suspension bushings and mounts, rebuild the LSD (which is almost surely dead if it is original), replace the driveshaft (which is also almost surely dead if original), install a standalone EMS (Haltech, Wolf, Microtech, etc.) and retune for better power and economy. Low-budget upgrades include synthetic transmission and differential oil, an engine oil drain valve, and upgraded air filter intake system.

The kit is about $1700 with HID's. I'm not aware of any place to buy it without the lights.

Yes, I know, I'm a crazy bastard who loves toying with that detonation threshold.

There was a place selling replica's of the FC2000 without HID's for about the price he listed. But I definatly agree with all of you, it's best to fix what's on the car and get that taken care of before trying to make it go faster.

Go all motor thats what i have to say about this. Dont waste your money on body kits and ****. The car look great as it is just clean up what you got say rust or what not and then all motor. I just like stuff that works and goes as quick as possible.

fixed.

Now, no body kit. All engine. Rebuild it, half bridgeport, Haltech ECU, and what you have left, get a nice exhasust, maybe even a bigger turbo/injector combo.

5k isn't going to get you the bodywork professionally done. I'd work on the engine first. get the thing running, beef up your suspension, then worry about interior and body. As far as the FC2000 kit is concerned, it looks badass!! BUT...I am partial to the GP Sports kit....
