What would you do?

Im thinking about picking up a s4 n/a for a daily driver from my friend. He bought it from a mechanic who was it owner for 100k miles, my friend had it for 3 months and it blew the clutch. hes going to sell it to me for 500 it has 130k on it, i have a spare s4 clutch and I do my own work is it worth it for a daily driver? I checked it out when he bought it, it drove nice and felt stable, he used it for a daily. what do you guys think, any feed back would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tony

Compression test. If that's good and it's in overall good condition I would buy it in a heartbeat.

if it doesnt have good compression i wouldnt even bother, a good rebuild will set you back $1500+ but if it does...sure, why not?
