Just like the title asks: What would be HP on a turbo motor with no boost?

Basically, if you were to take the turbo off and run it like an N/A with turbo rotors, etc.

Just a complete guess, but being the S4 N/A Engine is 148 and you now have almost a full point lower compression and an intake manifold that was deisgned for boost, it would be a bit less.

 

My guess is 120-130, too.

 

As a rule of thumb 1psi ~ about 10 hp?

 

All I know is a TII motor with no boost would be alot less potent as a N/A. Think about it. 2 less ports and almost a point lower compression. I think about 100- 120hp. I asked the same question once and the answer was a N/A motor would wipe the floor with a boostless TII motor.
