FL What would cause the secondary injector bungs to blow out?

I had the sec injector bungs jb welded very well but my motor was able to blow them out at 18lbs of boost. What would be a cause of this issue? I am going to open the motor and redo the job...

bungs? If you mean by that anything made of metal that was JB welded together, they blew out because you JB welded them in the first place.

Heat, vibration, pressure. Do it right and you won't have this problem.

yes, the motor will be opened and real plugs will be installed this time. Hopefully this thread will help someone in the future from making the same mistake.

I don't think that's what you need, unless they've been damaged or modified. There should be plastic diffusers in there, then rubber o-rings.

Sounds to me like he's referring to blocked-off injectors, plugging that there bunghole with a plug.

You would need to weld something over the bungs or machine press some plugs in there. Why don't you just put injectors in there? Sounds like you have some kind of pointless oddball setup.
