I just tap into the HOT side of something on the Fuse block,Like the Radio fuse.I run a Spade connector into the Fuse box.
There is,although Not Under the dash But in the Engine bay,a 12 volt Switched up by the leading coils,a Connector there has 12v switched.

well i bought a new fuse block sorta. i have one positive running to it with a 8 or 6 gauge then i have a few other things running off of it as i need them. so the main supply is there. i just cant remember what wire ive used in the past to switch the relay on.
