What wipers do you recommend?

I have an S4 87 N/A. Wipers are getting kinda ratty. What brand works well on these windshields? Which wipers have you had good performance from? Hard to choose from the various brands that are currently available.

I bought RainX Latitude for my girlfriends RX7. I bought a 626 for her afterwards. The first time it rained with her driving the car, she gave me money to buy the same wipers as the RX7.

They do not have pressure points, and naturally curve to the window. They are more expensive, but are worth it to not have any streaking.

ill never use another wiper. had rainx latitudes once on my truck and they were absolutely terrible left streaks from day 1 and crapped out within 2 months. the icon and latitude are very similar but the quality on the icons is much better.

i use the Insight Hybrid. used to only use icons/latitudes, but started noticing in the corner of the pass side the blade did not touch the windshield... the Insights do.

I never cared about the condition or brand of wipers. I drive with dirty windows all the time but recently my wipers fell apart so i decided to actually buy new ones for the first time in two years.

I had a coupon, buy one get one free Michelin stealth wiper blades. As Robert stanton said, they are not cheap. But these wipers are worth the price. Id recommend them to anybody.

I used to use only rainx (the wipe on type, not the blades) for a year straight with no wipers. It worked really well but got tired of having to reapply it so i decided to finally fix my wipers. That was a few years ago with just rainx. Works really well if the window is CLEAN and then you apply it properly.

Hard to believe, but I still have the original blades/rubbers front & rear on the '89TII, but on our other cars Silblades are the choice, 5 year warranty. On one of our Grand Cherokee's the blades started rusting after 4 years, sent them in and received new units.

Dont get the autozone flexblades, they streak like crazy and make weird noises. I'd go with the Bosch. Best blades I've ever ran.
