simple. just get a large fuel pump turbo injectors and 100-150 shot and only race from a rolling punch like third gear since camaros are not light at all (3300lbs-3500lbs) depending on driver size and full trim or not. since you can rev 2 grand more you, if you pull at all on him with suggested mods then you should be ahead or pulling on him while he shifts and so forth and so on. and the only reason i give this much hope for you is because a friend of mine has a 2000 z28 with intake cam exhaust and 4.10 rear and a another buddy had a h22 vtec prelude 1992 with 4ws and on the interstate the camaro didnt leave all that fast till after 120ish when torque play a factor. and i had a 91 crx with a zc swap and 75 shot and held my own for a minute but gears are to short in the si. but now i have the 87 turbo with good mods and 8psi and the 15in bbs wheel with 235 series and he wont race me after i took him for a ride. and my turbo spools late due to bent compressors fins.
but anywho just give it a try stock to stock then play around with some variables. and good luck. but do it safe and try it at the track if poss. because camaros and mustang guys tend took over rev at launch and get hella squirrely and could wreck into you and thats not worth ****. but give it hell but admit defeat....

Your basic options are these:
1.) Peripheral port and supporting mods.
2.) Turbo and supporting mods.
3.) LS1 and supporting mods.
4.) 20b and supporting mods.

Just remove his wheels and set the car up on cinder blocks. Stack the wheels next to the car with a note attached that says "Who's faster now?"

Just getting an LS1 would probably be the cheapest way to do it. And if you're a half decent driver your garunteed to win

Highly modded T2 .. should be able to take him.. but now you spent so much money on the engine setup, you could have just but a ls1 camero and be done with it.

20B? Who are we kidding.. This kid is probably still in high school.

Just sell your FC and buy a civic.. I heard those things are mAd qUicK y0!

pour armor all, all over his rear tires. Like a whole bottle. just don't tell him, or let him see you.

A modded TII can hang if it's healthy.

^^^ +1

Depends on the driver

A good driver with a good reaction time in a properly modified TII could take a Z28.

Hell i plan on being in the 13's with my High Comp. Turbo 7 when its done.
