my gxl just out of the blue today starts running lean, my air fuel guage goes from mid rich to near full lean at once. my exaust no longer smells of gas, or anything? wtf? im worried about my engine running this lean.
btw i now smell a strong fuel smell in the engine bay. its not the pd, it was removed 7-8 months aga w/ no problems. i see no leaks nothing is wet no smoke nothing. even traced the lines to the fp and nothing, no leaks at all?
wtf?

 

My guesses:

1. You are using a NB O2 gauge to measure this. Completely unreliable. When it dithers, that means you are feeding back.

2. You are N/A, running lean isnt as dangerous as doing it on a boosted vehicle.

3. You might have an injector leaking at the o-ring.
