What are the usual mods (TII)
Hi,
total noob to the Rotary and FCs. I read all the faqs, know the basic idea of a rotary, etc.
Of course, if I get mine I want to mod it.
What are the usual things to do?
Are there problems when installen Exhaust, DP, decat or race cat? Intake?
Anything that I would need to be aware of so I dont lose any power or run too lean (if thats possible)
Im looking for the usual power adders. Full exhaust, Intake at first other than updating the car itself suspension wise aswell as all the fluids and cleaning it up abit.

First of all, its very possible to run lean on a Turbo, and blow the engine. When you upgrade the exhaust, you need to get an FCD to avoid fuel cut and upgrade the pump and prob get a fuel controller to avoid running lean.
first before your mod make sure engine is running well, than get a boost gauge, Port your wastegate, then start the modding ( exhaust, intake, walbro fuel pump)..and so on. Oh yeah FCD = Fuel Cut defensor or defender.
the search button should be made bright red with flashing vegas style bulbs around it...maybe even a dim background of half naked, binki clad girls would up the interest in clicking it.....
edit: most of the big ones have been mentioned - search for "reliability mods"
