what to use for the compression check

Guys--will a normal compression gauge work,or do i need something else,and do i check all the spark plug holes are just the leading or trailing--please explain what to do.thanks

no you need a $1,600 usd tool to accuratly get it, u can modify one by removing check valve and seeing what it bumps too.

A normal gauge should work fine. An old hollowed out spark plug works good to check compression. And you only really need to test one of them, because your testing the compression of that one chamber.
