What type of gas?

What type of gas is best used in an fc if you dont premix? Is regular ok?

any n/a with stock timing: 87
any STOCK s4 TII: 87
any STOCK s5 TII: 89
modified TII: as high as you can get in your area

would a cat-back exhaust+manual boost controller with 2 psi bumped up from stock be considered stock?

thats what i put on the car. I already have the cat back, i'm putting the manual boost controller on this week and i'm going to bump it up 2 psi. Thats why I asked.

even if you're not premixing........the oil still kills the octane when it is injected into the motor

How so? I believe that under preasure the oil would combust at a higher pressure than gasoline...or am I missing something here?

i was pretty much trying to ask if those two mods are serious enough that it would make me have to use a higher octane gas?

Yes, you will also need a FCD and re wire your fuel pump.
