What transmission mount to get for a turbo vert?

I have a 1990 convertible with a full turbo swap. I'm starting to get some vibration inside so i figured it was time to replace the transmission mounts. On the mazdatrix website, they show two different trans mounts. One for a convertible and one for a coupe. Does it make a difference that i have done a swap, or do i just get the convertible mounts? what is the difference in the two mounts? Thanks in advance.

I would think that the mount is the same size and shape, but the convertible one may be a bit stiffer. You could just call them and ask.

Um, if you have a full turbo swap (so I'm assuming you're running a TII tranny), wouldn't you want a trans mount for a TII? That's what I"m running in my full nose to tail TurboVert since all it is now is a TII that can go topless.

The mounts for the N/A and Turbo are the same, only the convertible got different mounts. My guess is because the vert is not as stiff as the coupe so the used stiffer bushings to hold the trans.

The crossmembers are different, but the two rubber blocks (mounts) can be interchanged between models. The coupe mounts will be the softest, the convertible mounts will be a little stiffer, and the competition mounts will be the stiffest. Or at least that's how it goes for the engine mounts. Convertible engine mounts are stiffer than the coupe versions. Personally I'd just get the competition mounts, since they cost less too.
