what are these wires.

I have a series 4 turbo with series 5 engine but wiring loom is all s4 except some swapped connectors etc. I have these two plugs, one on each of the injector wiring strands. one is a white connector with a b/w and a blue/orange wire the other is a black connector with b/w and b/blue.they can connect together.

close to those wires is a single g/b wire

coming off the wiring that plugs into the large round white connector of my fuel pump resistor is a single n/a wire

and another solitary b/w wire

sorry for huge pictures don't know how to scale them down on my tablet.

The G/B wire is for the temp sensor on the thermostat cover. It's used for the aux. fan. The S5 engine may have a different connector. I'm not sure off-hand.

If the connectors in the first pic come off near the secondary injector wiring, they should be for the split air and port air solenoids on the ACV.

In the first pic the B/W and L/O wires matches the wiring connected to the Pressure Regulator Control Valve.

The P.R.C.V. is to regulate the fuel pressure at the FPR so it is not emissions related. At the round plug coonector for the Fuel Pump Relay and Resistor there are to be 6 wires feeding into the side where the Blue coded wires are at. Now, how many wires come out the other end of the plug not including the bare B/W wire.

six not including the b/w I think it had a loop on the end, like you would connect to the chassis or a power supply but it fell off. I think, can't be sure.

. the series 5 wiring had no such plugs with the injector wiring (the 1st photo)

because I've removed the rats nest and emissions and the series 5 wiring didn't have the two connectors are they redundant or do I need to install something off a s4 engine?

bump.still no idea on where the two b/w wires go. and Im pretty sure the one by the fuel pump resistor had a loop end. the prcv related one, was I not supposed to remove that related solenoid with the rats nest? I thought people remove em all, then reroute and cap vacuum lines?

The PRCV regulates the fuel pressure depending on whether the car is being cold started or hot started. When the car is hot started the PRCV increases the fuel pressure to help assist the starting process. It's not an emissions related component.

The solitary B/W wire you took a pic of. What harness does it look like it's a part of. It's also diffucult to figure which part of the engine that pic was taken from.
