Some people can just look at the plug and tell you what it is, but for those who would have to look in the FSM you need to provide the wire colors on at least one of the two rows.

One plug is the one in the attached jpg. Called by Mazda X-11 and does just what the jpg implys..........it's the mating plug b/t the FRONT and EMISSIONS harness inside the car.

Someone wrote above indicating you've solved your problem so I won't continue with this if that's the case.

YOUR pin count is a bit short from what the manual indicates.

should be the dash harness and door harness connectors in the second pic. sends power to the wiper and inversely to the coolant temp, CAS, alt plugs, etc. one passes through the door, other is on the engine harness itself, if not someone stole it for an EMS install harness to retain wiper functionality(i steal that jumper harness all the time, heh).

The attached jpgs should show what you need to know.

Seems for some reason unknown to us, you have the EMISSIONS part of X-11 in the engine bay instead of being routed into the car.

The plug that feeds the wipers are in the FRONT harness which connects to the EMISSIONS harness in the passengers foot well and then the wires in the emissions harness travel into the engine bay and plug into the wiper motor.

The ORANGE colored plug shown in your pictures should connect to a similar colored plug in the passengers foot well. Half of that plug would be the EMISSIONS (EM) harness half of the plug and the other half would be on the FRONT harness.

Somehow I think your using a EM harness out of a non USA car on a USA car. Japenese cars have the emissions harness and ECU on the left side of the car which would result in the EM harness not routing like a USA cars EM harness. Get my drift?

Series five WIRING can be downloaded from this site. That wiring is different than that from series four cars fyi.
