What is a T2 engine and tranny?

What is so special about a T2 engine and tranny? What their advantages and disadvantages?

Turbo 2 transmission are considerably stronger same (as i've been told) with the turbo rear end, turbo engines have a lower compression and are set up for turbo, kinda obvious one there . . turbo engines also only have 4 ports as n/a engines have 6 blah blah blah, it been asked before use the search button i've found it quite useful lately

A turbo 13BT engine has the potential to make more power.
The turbo transmission is stronger and can take more power.

I dunno what else you want to know, but that's the general gist of it.
