88 vert, it's beside the mirror buttons on the center console and looks like a fuel cut switch but does nothing. It has a little led on one side of the switch and the whole switch looks like a over sized jelly bean.

I have no pictures at the moment

I thought it might be an alarm system but no. It doesn't light up or anything and it spins around lol. I stopped playing with it since I'm worried something might happen to my 7 lol

Edit: don't want to start a new thread but the vert comes with an aluminum hood right ? Either that or I'm much stronger then when i owned my 87 base

pop out the mounting plastic and follow the wiring (if any) back to its origin.

you will quickly know if its factory as it will be included in a wiring loom.

The verts normally come with Aluminum hoods - a slight off set for the massive weight gain ^_-

its probably a factory fog light switch. the only switches that mazda ever installed into the FC were the AAS switch (big rectangular box), the mirror switches, headrest volume switch/**** (verts only), the fog light switch, and the alarm security light.
