what to spend more money on?

Well I have a little spare money which will of coarse go into my car. Here are my options.

Boost controller so that I can set my car at 10psi in every gear(and wear the turbo out so I can get a new one)
brand
Greddy profec A
or HKS EVC IV

Or get the 5series turbo to see if I can boost more w/o causing too much stress.

Keep my same turbo, but do a fm, and experience some high boost, but not controlled. Then have to port my wastegate.

Im open to any other suggestions.

I have full turbo back, intake, light fly, cfdfc, safc(getting fixed)

pick up a ball and spring manual controller for like $30-$100 depending on where. cheap off ebay. it made a big difference to have boost in all gears and it comes on way faster.

try and find the 89+ turbo and manifold. they arn't that much.

IC is alot of money and alot of work. you will proably lose boost with the FMIC, so don't worry about that.

thanks for the ideas. I used to have one of those manual boost controllers, and I gave it away cuz I heard they are crap. I may have to look into one again.

Any one have a prefrence between the two boost controllers above. I found them for pretty cheap. The HKS is $50 cheaper.

I'm w/ Scott...

Get a S5 turbo and manifold and a cheap manual bc. i really like turbo XS and for only $79 at www.RX-7.com. Yeah, you can get cheaper ones, but watch out for home made ones.

If you are really in a bc, ever consider a AVC-R (arouond $400 on ebay)? Probably one of the best looking unit around and cost about the same as a HKS IV.

Can't go wrong with the Greddy Profec A.
