What Spark Plugs To Use?

I noticed my car wa not performing as well as it should so i've decided to change the fluids, brake pads, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. However I want to know what spark plugs and wires to get for the best performance. I know NGK is a good import brand but i dont know what size to get or what gauge wire to get.

There's no possible way you can get the wrong spark plugs, unless you get them for a completely different car. Rotary spark plugs are unique to rotaries.

2x NGK BUR7EQ
2x NGK BUR9EQ

wires...NGK replacements would be great, denso makes a decent set as well. You won't see any performance gain by using fancy wires or plugs.

The NGK kit is premade, you don't get to spec wire gauge.

As previously stated, the OEM wires are sufficient and will last for many miles. The NGK plugs for an RX7 will have a T or an L marked on them at the base of the porcelean. T is for trailing, L is for Leading. The trailing plugs go in the top holes and the Leadings go in the bottom holes. Actually, a very simple task.

See this link for choosing spark plugs:
Mazdatrix - Spark Plugs

I have used a few different kinds of spark plug wires on my street-driven RX-7s, and I have not noticed any performance difference between them. Just make sure they have noise suppression if you intend to listen to your stereo. I tend to prefer the premade sets because... well, why in the hell would anybody want to go through all that work and risk screwing it up when there are perfectly good pre-made sets are available?

Just pick a color. Even the stock NGK wires look pretty nice IMO.
