What size wastegate?

Well in the future I want to have my turbo upgraded by bnrsupercars.com and want an external wastegate as well. What would work good for me? They have 35, 40, and 46mm ones. I would like to safely run from 8psi to maybe 12-15 psi when I want. Is that possible? Thanks.

I recommend the biggest one - the 46mm.&nbsp It sounds like a Tial line-up.&nbsp Others will argue you can go smaller, but bigger doesn't hurt in this case.

I kinda figured that as long as I have a boost controller I can bump my boost back up to whatever I want. Any ideas what boost I could go down to with the different sizes? Any other recommendations for wastegates? HKS maybe? I mean the 46mm tial one is $489.

Wastegate spring is more of a controlling factor for boost control, not the wastegate size itself.

The other unit I recommend is the HKS Race 50mm - it's more than the Tial 46mm.

Well this 60mm HKS one is only $20 more than the 46mm Tial one:

Yeah, the GT is actually cheaper than the Race - go figure.
