yeah i think you are right, i happen to like these gauges matt so oh well, any other takers at guessing? i'm hoping they are 52mm because aren't 60mm huge?
I like the old school feel that the orange gives off. Although it isn't as popular now, that's not why I bought the car. If I wanted something popular I would of bought a Civic... And then promptly committed suicide out of shame.

Majority of the peak / hold type gauges are 60mm.
It is slightly smaller than the typical U.S. 2-5/8" gauges.
Those HKS gauges are most likely 60mm.
They look like very old models though, looking at the font.
Be careful about the senders, since HKS has discontinued a lot of the senders from their very old gauges like those.
So if yours gets lost or broken, you might not be able to replace the sensors, making the gauges basically useless.

Oh, and that comment about BACKLIT orange faced gauges looking bad...
They match the stock interior lighting better.
Red / orange is on the low wavelength side of the spectrum.
Thus, they are better for your nightvision.
All those IDIOTS who like white or INDIGLO **** are screwing their eyes up driving at night.
Think about it.
Blue is on the high side of the light wavelength spectrum, and it's the worst color to be staring at when driving in the dark.
If I could, I would run all BACKLIT orange faced auxiliary gauges with one or two PRIMARY display gauges (boost and EGT) with maybe contrasting colors.
I run GReddy 60mm P / H boost and EGT gauges that are black face, but light up green at night - this makes for easy peripheral vision at night, as most of my other gauges are orange...
