what size should i do... injectors

ok I want 300 SAFE hp heres the parts/setup i have underway. 87 t2 motor, new housings, LARGE street port. 2mm 2 peice seals, 1 peice corner seals, all new internals and high vol oil pump and reg. i might do a light flywheel later. 4 puck clutch. BNR stage 2 to4 (90 turbo) r.b. 2.5" d.p to a custom 2.5" or 3" exh. I have a staron fmic and i figure 2.5" piping on that. ill have a microtech LT8 running this. I want a good safe setup in the 300 on the ground area. i have looked at a few setups like 550 prims with 720 sec. but i think thats gonna be on the line of not being enuff. then i thought 550 and 1k's but i think thats a LARGE jump. then i thought 680(or 720) primes(-se) and 1000 or 1200 sec.
I want to beable to pass smog if i need to(4 more years ). i just want a good safe motor that i can get lots o miles from... i mean im gettting new housings just cus i think these are MARGANAL and i want this motor RIGHT so i dont want to mess up by running to high duty cycle with to small infectors.

I don't think I would recommend 720cc for PRIMARY"S you will run RICH at idle. Maybe 680cc gsl-se injectors in PRIMARY'S. as far as SECONDARIES either 720cc or 1000cc will be suitable. Also think about up grading your fuel rails. I know SR sells some nice ones. Fuel pump is inevidable.

Did you see the part the owner was going to use a Microtech to run everything?

I'm running 4x720's and idling fine just using a Field SFC-HyperR to control things.

you are correct im going to be using a microtech standalone. im just not to sure if i can get it to do good with 720's on the primes.... im new to egi as mazda calls it im a carb man myself but i cant get the power i want and be a daily driver from a carb. I will have to do a pump as the car its going into is a 83 with a carb. from the factory... i dont think the injectors will like 10 psi im still up in the air on my pump also... the bigest thing i have to deal with on the pump is its EXTERNAL... meaning not in the tank and thats a real pain in the *** to find a big pump thats extrnal. any specs i should look 4? i plan to run -10 an line from the tank-filter-pump to the fuel rail and then -8? or -6 on the returnside all the way to the tank. i might do a aftermarket regulator. but i think it will have to be a boost sensative reg. right? i might look at the new rails@ S.R. but im not a huge fan of shane racing as i took a good raping on a fb alum. radiator. BUT IT DID LOOK GOOD

Always check with your EMS manufacturer before buying fuel injectors. I suggest asking one of the Microtech distributors which injectors will work best for your application.

The Aeromotive and SX pumps are good. Yes, you should also get a regulator and high-flow filter.

I have several "big" fuel pump upgrade here:&nbsp http://fc3s-pro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/fpump.htm

I have extreme fuel system FPR diagrams here:&nbsp http://fc3s-pro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/fpr.htm

The stock fuel rails can easily support up to 500, so it's not a choke point.&nbsp Running -6AN under the car from the fuel pump to the front is really overkill for your power requirements, but going with -4AN is too damn small.&nbsp -5AN is pretty hard to find.

They do if you make them fit.&nbsp The immediate problem is that the FD3S fuel injectors are all side-feed design which makes them not a direct drop in for the stock FC3S fuel rails.
