17's will give you a lower profile tire meaning less sidewall flex during cornerning. However, you get this at an increase of unsprung and rotational mass. This decreases rough road holding and straight line acceleration. If your primary concern is accelerating quickly in a stragiht line, go with 16's. There are lots of options for 16" rims that will look very good, especially if you lower the car. If you're all about the twisties, 17's are more lilkely to be your best bet, but tires make a huge difference. If your roads are fairly rough, you may want a little more give in the tire, not to mention lighter wheels, that 16's will provide. Weigh your options against your budget and your goals.

well, it all depends on the wheel, i suggest you choose the type o wheel you want, then choose the size, ive seenwheels that look better as 15-16's than they do 17's, and then ofcourse, there are thoes completly oppisit to that

Just to add.......... Something to consider for daily drivability, the larger the rim you go the lower the profile of the tire also decreses ride quality. You'll feel alot more bumps in the road.

Yeah, Do your suspension first! I will be worth it. Prioritized what needs to be done first, and what you want later! IMO
