ok, im looking to converting to a fmic intercooler, i bought the intercooler online, havent recieved it yet, and am wondering what size piping i need, i found a place that sells aluminum 50mm piping for cheap, will this work??
Also, does anyone have any pics of there starion setup, and where should i mount it??

I used 2.5 inch mandrel bent, and have not noticed a difference in lag or press drop! Got it from summit for 45$ shipped

 

i thought the stock IC inlet/outlet of the starion are small, around 2".

the best place to mount it...in the front.hehe

 

Yeah I cut the iC inlet and outlet out and welded in(JB Weld,hehe) 2.5 pipes. I ounted mine between the rad and rad support to maintain a fairly short distsance of piping. Dont let any other posts BS you, I love mine, basically no difference in feel from stock, but no heatsink, and lower temps!

 

Where did you get your Starion IC? Ebay?
