What size leads??
Hi,
I've just recently bought 8 ml top gun leads for my fc, it's a series 5 turbo with turbo back 3 inch exhaust, pod intake, we think it's ported, boost upped a little, hopefully aftermarket fuel pump. Anyways, as you can see, the power is increased a bit. So, i'm wondering whether it's worth spending 100 bucks (Aus dollars) on 10 ml spiral wire leads, or will the 8 ml ones i just put in be fine? As far as i can tell, the leads that were on there are actually stockies! They're Yazaki r-16 airp. Anyone know if these are the stock leads? They seem to measure only 8 ml in diameter...

This difference is in the thickness of the insulation, not the size of the condictor. There are no performance advantages to 10mm leads. They're made for race cars that have far higher underbonnet temps the street cars.
