what size amp switch? ground? inline fuse?

As a theft deterant I plan to wire in a fuel cut off switch at/near the fuel pump. I don't have much experience in the way of doing electrical work but
from the threads I have been able to find I understand that;

1)the power wire for the fuel pump is a black wire with a white stripe (this is the one I will spice into)
2)voltage to the pump for an n/a should be pretty constant at around 12v.

So my questions are:
1)What size amp switch should I use?
2)Should the switch be grounded? probably on a nearby bolt?
3)Should I be running an inline fuse where I splice into the blk/wht wire?

Thanks a lot!!

This is what I would do.

Find the fuse in the fusebox which is for the fuel pump. Take note of it's amperage rating. Then find a switch that can handle that amperage. Wire that switch inline with the fuel pump's power wire. It should only have two poles on it. You don't need to ground it or anything and it's already fused at the fuse box.

I would try and run at least a 20A one in there.
The stock current is about 10A.

Thanks for the info!
I went ahead and ran a 30A switch (there is no seperate fuse for the pump, Haynes says EGI 30A, FSM says ENGINE 15A) and decided to run it inline with the negative wire off the pump.
I didn't want to cut into the stock wiring so I disconnected one of the negative wires from the stock fuel pump connector (mounted onto the left shock tower) and used the stock female connector to run the addional wiring for the switch.
