what sive tires for 17" wheels?

i have an 86 rx7 and have a chance to get a set of 17's with a set of 275/45's for rubber, can anyone tell me if this will fit?

definately not in the front. might fit in the back with the correct offset.

how wide are the wheels? i wouldn't fit anything more than 245/40/17 in the front.

also, i will be putting 255/40/17 on an 8 inch rim on the rears tomorrow... i'll post pics as soon as i can.

18" won't fit very well. They will fit but when you hit a bump the tires are going to hit the fender.

225/45/17 in the front

245/45/17 in the rear
