What Rx do I have?
I keep reading about NA, S5, etc. and I don't understand it. I am having trouble identifying what the distinguish is here and to know exactly what I have on my car.
I know I have a 1988 non turbo 5 speed GXL with the security alarm and sunroof but that's about as far as it goes.
I am going to try and upload some pictures to my member page.

u have an s4. 2nd gen rx7's were produced from 86-91. 86-88 are know as series 4 and 89-91 are know as series 5. basically the same car just small differences. biggest difference is the plugs for just about everything are different and na only means thats its naturally aspirated. turbos are forced induction.

I'm used to it by now. Not many women work on cars, let alone their own. I'm pretty new to Rx7s and have a TON to learn. I tried the FAQ section but I didn't find anything other then question on how to post, etc. I'm still trying to figure out totally how to navigate this site. I believe I spent about 2 hours searching for my answers through the forums and came up empty handed so I figured I'd just post my question for a more speedy solution so I can better accurately search out other issues I'm having.
So far what I've got is a nightmare of an exhuast leak issue. I'm thinking about giving up on the manifold and it's flange and installing a header.
I've got a bad/loose ECU ground under the manifold causing my 38OO rmp stall and causing my radio to loose ground intermittently.
A vacuum hose leak SOMEWHERE that you can hear discharge when you shut off the engine.
Then when I've got my functioning affairs in order it's time to repair the damaged caused by running into a tree.

for searching, the best thing to do is go up top - click search then click on the tiny "advanced search" button.
then on the left hand side where you type in the topic, right under it is a drop down bar. select the option for "thread titles only" if not you get any thread that includes one post with whatever word you searched.

Theres quite the learning curve on acronyms, like every other niche site.
Heres a link to the acronyms explained: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=494667
