Since you mentioned secondary fuel injectors....

....and mine don't work.....

should I bring the car to my mechanic ad have him do it, or should I try it myself. If anyone here has the time you could write out how to do it, cuz I dont know how. Thanks.

Mike

I shift at around 7500 so that it will land back at 5500 in the next gear...

for a non modified rx-7 isn't the most HP @ 6500 RPM, and the most torque @ 3500 RPM, so when launching rev it up to 3500 and put down the clutch for the fastest launch, then shift at 6500 RPM.

About shifting at the buzzer...

I usually shift at about 7000 and haven't heard the buzzer for a long long time after taking the cats off. What exacly is happening or being sensed when the buzzer warns you to shift?

The shift buzzer goes off 200rpm before redline. That's all it is.

Really? my 89 GXL has a redline at 8k, but i've only heard the buzzer once, and it was much closer to 8.5k(not on purpose, i normaly shift closer to 7-7.5 if i'm just trying to give the engine a good run).

Just wondering, i guess its possible my tach is off? I've heard of that before.
