Oh heaven forbid you use wheels from a lowly mustang. A stock GT will destroy any stock FC, stop acting like you drive a super car.

17 x 8....16 x 7.....is it that hard of a choice.

a stock GT is ONLY good at a straight line, the exact thing that FC's are not good at.
Even if they are somewhat quick, I think mustangs are dumb looking, I just don't like the styling.
I say the TII rims simply because I just don't like the mustang rims, it has nothing to do with my dislike for the car.

whaaaaaa he has a v8

I think the s5 wheels look MUCH better than my s4 wheels, but I think the mustang rims look just as good and provide an extra inch of wheel which can be put to good use when trying to put 245's in the back.

A fair comparison is a fair comparison.

I'm cool because I have a turbo

The only comparison that is fair is who crosses the finish line first. Whether you use 4.6L to do this or 1.3L it doesn't matter.

I'm slow because I have a n/a....oh wait I bought a t2

So, comparing a Dodge Viper to a Geo Metro is a fair comparison? Give me a break.

If I cared about speed as much as you do, I would have bought a T2

Compared to a POS mustang the FC is a supercar.

I think those mustang wheels are 24lbs each. At that weight, Id go for the stock T2 set. Yes I think they look better, and you will be able to fit more rubber, but they are very heavy.

Who are you to determine that for someone else? The "greatest" car is a matter of personal preference.

Isaac

P.S. I don't consider FCs to be the greatest, I reserve that spot for FDs.

Uh, most of the people replying arent looking down on Mustangs. Theyre looking at the functionality. I like the particular design, but the fact that theyre 8-10 lbs heaver than the TII wheels makes me shy away from them.

I say, putting larger, heavier wheels on your car that makes it even slower than a lowly Mustang GT is RICE.

I say you're probably the type of person who would try and put 245's on the stock 7 inch rim.

If a GT is low, I'd hate to ponder what a FC is.

I would buy some VERT wheels

That is what I have and I don't really care about having wider tires my car handles very well with 205/60/R15's I like the design of the stang wheels but I like that my BBS's weigh only 11.5 pounds each. I would only get another wheel if they are the same weight or less. Apperances only take you so far. Oh and V8's are slow I have proben that on the road several times now and I drive an N/a

Santiago

PS-BBS's go on ebay for about 250 a set.

I think those rims look really nice, but those brake rotors look so goddamn wimpy! It kind of offsets the coolness of the rims.

I said lowly in a joking manner. Cobra mustangs are retarded fast.

And consildering my current configuration, I dont have any problems with my wheel/tire setup.

Get a set of the bbs vert rims- they look cleaner and are a lot lighter.
