What is this reservoir for?

Do you guys know what this guy is for? I picked up a 89T2 and I'm not sure what this reservoir is for or if its even a factory item.
Thanks
Al

cold start system, injects antifreeze into intake on cold starts to help up the compression by displacing volume in the combustion chamber. There was a tsb to remove it, and it hardly ever works anyway.

Wow thanks for the quick reply guys. I think the car is originally from Utah. Looks like I will be removing it then. Now to find that TSB...
