what r the best apex seals??

i know ceramic are the best but i don't have that kind of money so what are better....Steal or Carbon and which lasts longer and when one break it doesn't bust up my engine?? thanks

Carbon is only better at higher rpms, they dont seal as well at idle or low rpms. Not to mention they dont last long at all compared to the steel.

2 piece? OEM seals in general I've read to be the very good....fc stock 2mm 3 piece..

For stock motors, stick with the stock 3-piece 2mm seals.
If you've got a $10,000 race BP or PP motor, using the carbon seals will give you better sealing when you rev over 9kRPM+.

3-piece seals seal better than 2-piece seals.
3mm seals give you a little more safety with big boosted motors, but you need to get the rotors milled for the thicker seals.

Stock Mazda 3-piece, 2mm steel apex seals work fine for 95% of the people on here.

I just want to make sure i have stronge apex seals because i don't want pieces of steal going throught my turbo and my exhaust

If you have the money, ceramic seals are the best of all. They make 2mm and 3mm both in one or two piece. Iannetti is widely regarded as the best producer of them.
Big boosted engines typically go with one piece 3mm or 2mm ceramics and na or lower boosted engines can use two piece 3mm or 2mm or even one piece if you want...
